PERMSIMILISforce™ for Spider Mite Control

PERSIMILISforce™ (Phytoseiulus persimilis) is used to prevent and control spider mites. The  predators are 0.5mm and quickly consume most spider mite pests (Tetranychus spp.) as well as: the two-spotted mite (Tetranychus urticae), the carmine red mite (Tetranychus cinnabarinus), and the Pacific mite (Tetranychus pacificus).

Phytoseiulus persimilis lay eggs within spider mite concentrations and webbing. Once hatched, the predators will begin consuming spider mite eggs, larvae, and adults. The PERSIMILISforce™ predators have a lifespan of 8 days as immatures and around 36 days as adults. Optimum performance conditions for them is between 70 and 85°F with a relative humidity between 60-90%.

Application Guidelines

  • Release Rate: 0.5 per sq. ft., regular releases recommended (Low Infestation); 2 per sq. ft. (High Infestation)
  • Use Sites: Greenhouses, Indoor Facilities, Fields, Gardens
  • Supported Crops: Vegetable Crops, Fruit Crops, Ornamental Crops, Hemp, Tree & Shrub Nurseries
  • Targeted Pests: Two-Spotted Spider Mite (Tetranychus urticae), Other Spider Mite species such as the Carmine Red Mite (T. cinnabarinus) and the Pacific Mite (T. pacificus) can also be controlled, but higher than normal rates will be required.
